Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson hails from the American continent and works as a performer, actor and writer, singer/director. Her most well-known role was Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she produced, directed and starred her own films Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was the child born on January 8th 1977 to Edward and Diane Benson. Her younger sister is Danielle Benson, who works as an artist. Benson, whose father is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson appeared on Morganville The Series and in The Killing Jar since Buffy's ending. While behind the lens, Benson used her writing talent to create her own Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010 she directed Drones. Buffy estimates that at least 1800 Slayers exist in the universe with 500 who are part of the Scooby Gang. Slayers are now Slayers when they reach the age of maturity.
