Meagan and Kara

Meagan Good's mother Tyra was a teenager at the time she was employed in Panorama City as a manager and her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman from LAPD. Her career in acting began at the age of four. Her family was from Canyon Country, California with three siblings. Early in her career she worked as an extra in television shows like Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. At the age of 13, she was cast in her debut film Friday. Her role as Cisely an angry teenager in Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered the attention of her peers. She was awarded two awards which included the first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominee. Good started with minor roles in film and on TV for a couple of years after which she moved on to adult roles in the early 2000s. She was Nina on Cousin Skeeter which was a Nickelodeon T.V. The show ran from 1998 to 2001. In addition, she was offered minor roles on the show from 1998 to 2001. She also landed minor roles in the movies House Party: Down to the last minute as well as 3 Strikes. She portrayed Vanessa Scott on the 2003 sitcom My Wife and Kids. The show featured her in D.E.B.S in 2004, a action comedy that saw her nominated for Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards of 2005. The following year, she started her acting career in the web-series If Can Dream. Kara Killmer began her career onscreen in 2010 after appearing in various local shows. She appeared in Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream in the pilot episode. The series' focus was the group of people who began to live together in Hollywood, California.
