Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. She is the daughter of an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy is one of the five children, four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. The family lived at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, later moving to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move into London was difficult and she did not study English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was forced to change schools. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school plays. At the age of 16, she quit college and began pursuing a career as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to become an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the possibility to be a model.
